The Gillette theater underwent a comprehensive renovation completed in three phases, carefully planned to ensure the business remained fully operational throughout the process. The project included updates to the lobby, corridors, and auditoriums.

In the auditoriums, new platform structures were built to accommodate upgraded lounge-style seating, enhancing comfort and the overall movie-going experience.

The corridors were revitalized with modern lighting, accent ceiling details, and updated wall coverings. Due to fixed ceiling heights—some as low as 7’-6”—design solutions such as waterfalling ceiling-to-wall treatments were used to create a greater sense of height and openness.

The lobby transformation introduced a cozy fireplace seating area and a new party room, while the ceiling was redesigned to echo and modernize the existing curves of the space, resulting in a sleek and contemporary atmosphere.
